University of Washington Nursing students will be in Beachwood Lounge on Monday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. to present an educational session on the use of POLST forms and 5 Wishes. POLST is the official document used for advance medical directives by Emergency Medical Technicians, and other medical professionals in the event of a medical emergency. 5 Wishes is a communication toll about end of life issues.
