Facts About Warm Beach
Nestled on the beautiful Pacific Northwest coast, our community is surrounded by nature's wonders
The name Warm Beach actually refers to a natural phenomenon: at low tide, the sun-warmed sand heats the shallow shoreline, warming the water that laps the beach.
As the tide comes in, that heat is drawn into the Puget Sound—creating a pleasantly mild "warm zone" in the water—hence the name Warm Beach.
So the "warm" isn't from a hot spring or geothermal source—it's simply Mother Nature using the sun and sand to create one of our region's coziest, softly warmed inlets.
